Italian jewellery maker Buccellati recently celebrated their landmark 100th anniversary by unveiling a striking, diamonds-encrusted collection of handcrafted high jewellery. Showcased during Haute Couture Week as part of an "open doors" event at the brand’s new boutique on Rue Saint-Honoré in Paris, these exquisite creations include breathtaking necklaces, rings and even a watch — each artistically designed to make a bold, vibrant statement.

Opera High Jewellery Necklace


Seeking inspiration from the logo element of the jewellery house, this gorgeous necklace is encrusted with 1.093 round diamonds weighing a total of 11.57 carat. Etched in white gold, the neckpiece is punctuated by sections of yellow gold and intertwined leaf motifs. The pendant, which also works as a brooch, follows the same design aesthetic as the necklace, and at its heart is a deep red tourmaline weighing 16.31 carat. This handcrafted piece of goldsmithing excellence is the perfect ode to a century-old tradition, and is sure to make heads turn.

 
Cricket Necklace


This unique choker created by designer Lucrezia Buccellati skilfully fuses traditional design with a touch of modernity. The honeycomb-textured choker might look simple at first glance, but the effortlessly complex design features 443 diamonds weighing 9.17 carats, arranged in a linear fashion along the lacework surface and borders.

 
Jasmine Ring


This is a ring with just the right flourishes, embodying graceful movement. A feat of unparalleled workmanship, it is studded with diamonds on the lower border, with a curved yellow gold-leaf section and drop-shaped diamonds on top. With 59 diamonds weighing 3.60 carats, the ring comes with shimmering gold beads and engraved bezels.

 
Budelli Cocktail Ring


The first thing that strikes you about this ring is the gorgeous pink of that 19.20-carat faceted kunzite set at its very core. Blessed with a colour that is reminiscent of the beaches of Budelli in Sardinia, the stone is supported by a pagoda-like structure with 108 round diamonds weighing 1.16 carats, a yellow gold bezel, a mounting base, also in yellow gold, and a white gold stem.

 
Bluebell Jewelled Watch


Imagine yourself sprawled on a garden filled with pretty campanula flowers. There’s wild green grass everywhere you look, and the beauty is stark, simple, real. Buccelatti attempts to recreate this very scenario with this highly artistic watch. A flower-shaped white gold case encrusted with diamonds, a green and blue enamel-studded dial and an intricately crafted bracelet with overlapping floral elements are the key design highlights. The watch has anti-reflection glass, Swiss Quartz movement and 897 diamonds (11.35 carats). A truly timeless piece, indeed.
