Good Morning Friends,
Fall is all about layering. You will hear me say “This is a great layering piece for fall”. When I say that I mean this piece is perfect for a few reasons. It can be a stand-alone item, you can style it in multiple ways, or it’s a transitional item throughout the seasons.
Thank you My Sisters Closet for sending me this top. Use code NIGHTCHAYDE for 10% off. Affiliate links are used in this post.
The Top
I found this cute top from My Sister’s Closet and knew it was a perfect piece for all three reasons. This top can be styled alone with a pair of jeans and a layered necklace, it can be styled in multiple ways, and it can be styled for all seasons. For Summer it can be styled with a cute pair of shorts and sandals. Winter, it can be styled under a warm jacket, hat, and scarf. Fall or Spring it can be styled under a cardigan with boots and hate. For under $25 (with code NIGHTCHAYDE) this top gets you so much bang for your buck.
The details of this top also add a style element. Textures are fun to play with in an outfit. This top has a fun crinkle texture and fringe around the hem. Styled with a faux leather jacket you get the hard and soft textures playing against each other for a very chic and very effortless look.
The Jacket
I paired this top with a simple black and white peppered jacket. It was a warmer night so I left the scarf at home. How fun does this top look with this jacket? A match made in clothing heaven.
Jeans are my favorite bottoms to wear. You see me 98% of the time in jeans. It brought a nice contrast to the white top and really emphasized the tassels.
These booties are some of my favorite. I have had them for years and I got them from Cotton On for under $12. These booties got me through so many seasons and so many wears. I really love this outfit, its chic, simple and comfortable.
