Like thousands of others around the country, actress Amy Huberman revealed she adores Normal People and praised the incredible work that went into it.

The show, based on Sally Rooney’s bestselling novel of the same name, has been an instant hit with viewers.

It’s set between Sligo and Dublin and follows the lives of two young adults, Marianne (Daisy Edgar-Jones) and Conall (Paul Mescal) as they finish school and start college.



Amy binged all 12 episodes of the series, and reckons her evenings will be pretty empty now without it.

Taking to social media, she said, “Gobbled that up quicker than the best banana bread ever made in quarantine ever.

“What a beautiful show with such glorious acting, writing, direction, design and just everything. Yes, including Conall’s necklace. What the heck am I going to watch now?”

She added, “PS. I had been sent a screening link so I’ve inhaled all the episodes with no indigestion. It’s really gorgeous.”

Another celebrity fan, is reality tv royalty, Kourtney Kardashian.

Sharing clips of her watching the series, she simply said, “This show” with a love-heart emoji.
