Some skincare ingredients need to be formulated in a specific pH range for them to work in your skin but shockingly, the companies don’t always formulate them correctly! This is the case for AHAs or Alpha Hydroxy Acids. AHAs exfoliate the skin but only if they’re at a pH of 4 or below.
