This gorgeous amber pendant is made of Mexican amber and was hand-formed by Mayan artisans of Chiapas. It is strung on a dromedary leather cord from the Tuareg people of North Africa. The necklace is about 19" long but I can put it on a different length cord if you wish. the pendant measures 3.25 inches.
Mexican amber is among the rarest and highest qualities of amber in the world. The amber is of a long extinct species of tree and is probably about 25 million years old.
