This listing is for a beautiful Native American made beaded choker. This is a collaborative effort between two Etsy artisans.
First - the beadwork -
This beadwork is Native American made by Master Beader Gail Geralyn. Gail is a card carrying member and Tribal Elder of the Oneida Nation. Beading is where her heart is and it shows in her work. When she is at her Ojibwe wooden loom all is well in the world. The beadwork in this piece has so many beautiful colors. This is a traditional tribal pattern with contemporary colors that will go with any outfit or regalia. The beadwork itself is 1" X 7".
Secondly is the leather that the beadwork is attached to. It is such a privilege to work with beadwork such as this. I have mounted this to a rust colored leather. The leather is super soft. There is a tribal design branded into the leather around the edges. There is a great closure on this as well, just loop the leather through both rings, then go back through one ring. The rings grasp the leather so that it doesn't slip or stretch over a long period of time. No danger of it coming loose either.
Sizing - this can be worn on a neck that is 15" and larger. If your neck is smaller then you would have a little bit more room. Because of the construction of the leather the beadwork will still stand upright if you have a smaller neck.
