Each time we go to Nepal I start my trip visiting the stupas in the valley. The Swayambhunath stupa sits atop a hill overlooking the entire valley. During our last trip there we found this necklace and have been in contact with the jewelry artists that make it. Finally we received a few of them and they turned out beautifully.
This classic Tibetan necklace features six strands of Heishi turquoise beads whih connect traditional Tibetan spacers. Finished with a main coral and turquoise Tibetan pendant.
Coral is known as the stone of passion and can be used to reconnect with nature and attract love and prosperity. Coral is also connected with bringing inner peace, strength, and understanding of purpose.
Turquoise is perhaps the oldest stone in man’s history, the talisman of kings, shamans, and warriors. It is a stone of protection, strong and opaque, yet soothing to the touch, healing to the eye, as if carved from an azure heaven and slipped to earth.
Measures approximately 18 inches around. Pendant measures 2 inches tall and is trimmed in silver. Made in Nepal.
